One of the best bouldering gyms in Amsterdam. Price is 13 euros for 1 time entrance. The number of climbs is massive, the routes are really engaging, fun and different, there is something for everyone. The gym area is nice as well as the training area in the back.

I went bouldering for the first time last week, it was super fun! It’s very beginner friendly and the staff was nice as well. The tosti’s and hot choco are really good. They also have an option to rent shoes which is really great.

Have tried the introduction course twice now at Beta boulder and it has been a great experience both times. Friendly, relaxed and experienced trainers that show u all the basic skills you need to start your boldering experience. From beginners to more experienced climbers there is a challenge for everyone. Great experience and would definitely recommend it.

Beta Boulders Amsterdam is a gym next to the Olympic stadium and located in the basement of a modern building and very conveniently approachable with public transportation. The gym offers a separate co-working space (room with separate door to isolate from the noise of the gym) and also some cosy sofas. Although this gym is located in the basement it offers some daylight through windows, which is nice.
There is a small training area with a calestethics rack, some weights and fingerboards. The climbing area itself is like a long tube. Narrow and long with climbing walls on both sides. I was surprised by the low walls they are significantly lower than in the gyms I regularly go in Berlin.
The difficulty level of the problems are by colors of the holds. The staff was super friendly and the price for a daypass war like in other gyms in Amsterdam.

Like this bouldering place a lot: friendly hosts, regular route changes, good opening times. Simple but effective gym area for workouts and warmups.

My only point of concern: the dog policy. Apparently, dogs of all shapes and sizes are welcome. I have been (unpleasantly) surprised by a rather large dog blocking my way through the bathroom door opening. Other peoples dogs have been jumping up against me (dog owner assured me 'he just wanted to play'). I have been sniffed on by a dog while doing my warmup off the wall and I have been on the wall hearing nails scratching on the floor and mats behind me, making you wonder and check over your shoulder whether there is a dog in your fall zone. It is not about whether that dog is actually there: it is about having to keep track of other peoples dogs while on a route in the first place.
Let me be clear: said dogs were exhibiting 'normal' dog behaviour. Can't blame the dogs here. Some (but not all) owners truly did their best to control their dogs. But I don't think a gym and bouldering hall are suitable places to have dogs wandering around. In the cafe and workspace area I could see that work, but not in the rather tight gym and climbing section.

This is the closest climbing gym to me. It’s quite good staff super friendly and it’s a nice environment to climb in. Routes are reasonable graded and the climbs are normally interesting.

Has a bar but the drinks are abit expensive roughly a euro more expensive then in a shop.

Climbed here for a month now and that is my only complaint.

Great experience climbing here. Wide variety of boulder styles and people are very friendly. The cafe was also good and the smoothies are nice to have after a session. Will definitely come back some day!
