Stopped by here on my way back to Tampa. The griot was honestly the best thing I had. The legume was not what I expected, but it was good. Service was ok and our food came out promptly. The rice and peas was ok as well. The bathroom was not the best and had no soap to wash hands. Overall I would return for the griot. It was crispy, juicy and well seasoned. Serving size was also fantastic. One plate could feed you for a few days. With some minor changes, this place would be top tier.

One of the best haitian foods I've ever tried, gotta try it for yourself. Spent under $15 for this plate that filled me up. As a bonus the food is fresh, so it's worth the wait. Local or visitor looking for haitian food that's affordable, check this place out.

Ambiance:
There is none, located in the heart of little Haitia in Miami. This place is mostly for pick up. You could eat there but there is no air conditioning so on a hot summer day it becomes hard to sit and eat there. You order and wait (no table service).

Food:
Fried Chicken: comes with kidney beans rice, salad (lettuce, tomatoes, and carrot), fried eggplant, coslaw, and this red sauce. The chicken was somewhat dry. There was no seasoning. The salad had no dressing and the coslaw was drenched in vinegar. It's a good thing that they gave the red sauce because without it, it would be really hard to eat.

Fried Goat: (same as above) but this was actually seasoned well and tasted good. The meat was tender.

Service: we waiting a considerable long time to get our food.

Overall, this is a place you go just for food but know what to order.

We went all the way from Miami South Beach for lunch to Chez Le Bebe and it was WORTH it!! My first time to try Haïtian food! We had ONE fried chicken and shared with my friend - it was a big portion for only 7 $. The side dish of brown bean rice (riz grains) was delicious - I will search the recipe and try it at home. The restaurant was packed with people after, apparently, their Sunday mass (beautifully dressed) mainly to take away. Delicious food, good vibes, nice experience.
