Tivemos a referencia de amigos a visitar o Le Bouchon du Grove, restaurante francês no coração do Coconut Grove, é pequeno e aconchegante, pessoas atenciosas e educadas que nos serviram, tomamos vinho branco, Chardonay e Moscatel que harmonizaram muito bem com os pratos pedidos. De entrada escolhemos carpaccio de tomates e pimentões que estavam deliciosos e vieram acompanhados de uma cesta de pães artesanais e quentinhos, de prato principal optamos pelo fricassê de frango com risoto de cogumelos, serviu bem duas pessoas e estava delicioso. O restaurante foi uma ótima experiência, nos desfrutamos de uma boa refeição em um lugar muito agradável. $

Our latest outings have been a mission to check out the local spots with history and long living reputation. My boyfriend took me here for our date night and i was very excited about it. Usually our choice falls on amazing spots and it is a hit from the start. Unfortunately it wasn’t the case entirely..

Well, the atmosphere is definitely very vivid french bistro. I enjoyed numerous posters and wall art and cozy furniture. They also served us complementary glasses of sparkling wine, wasn’t sure if they do it regularly but it was nice. Wine selection was great, our choice fell on Malbec and it did go so well with tartare we ordered anticipating a marvelous filet mignon as a main course. The tartare was delicious, however, maybe its my personal preference, but the pieces could’ve been chopped smaller. The french fries and salad that accompanied the tartare i assume came with no sauce, and after we asked for some ketchup it didn’t seem too important for the server to remember, so we moved on. There was also marvelous tomato carpaccio. They sure know how to pick them and the olive oil dressing was amazing. However the tuna steak that it came with was seared only on one side, maybe thats how they serve it, which is fine, but it did feel slightly fishy, so my attention turned back to tomatoes quickly. I am not huge on meats but my boyfriend is. He ordered $48 steak that came covered in sauce entirely with some more fries and salad, with no sauce, again. I thought it was strange, usually places like to display a beautiful roast/grill and they don’t dump sauce all over the main star of the dish, but it didn’t bother my boyfriend, so he dug into it. Only to find out that the stake wasn’t cooked properly to medium rare, it was basically raw meat still cold inside.
The dessert was a real nice delish! Loved the texture and vanilla of that amazing apple pie.

I respect and admire history of wonderful places, especially in current Miami dining scene that changes so fast. Le Bouchon Du Grove is definitely a place with a character's, charm and culture. But we didn’t click this first time but i am totally willing to try again. I hope this review brings some insights to them, more than criticism. Places with history should be thriving as cultural pillars✨

This fantastic restaurant has been in business since 1994. Consistently great menu with authentic French dishes in a small and cozy setting. We enjoyed the delicious food and the outstanding service of the whole team.The place is rather small and fills up fast. Reservations are recommended, especially on a Friday evening.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this incredible French restaurant, and I can confidently say it was one of the most authentic and flavorful meals I’ve ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance set the perfect tone, and the food took it to the next level.

We started with the classic escargots (snails), and they were simply divine. Perfectly tender, the snails were bathed in a garlicky herb butter sauce that was so flavorful, I couldn’t resist soaking it up with the warm bread. Following that, we enjoyed the steak tartare, which was expertly prepared—every bite a wonderful mix of fresh beef, delicate seasoning, and a hint of tanginess from the capers and mustard.

For the main course, we tried both the chicken fricassée and the steak au poivre. The chicken was meltingly tender, served in a velvety sauce with perfectly cooked vegetables, bringing out the comforting and rustic flavors that you expect from a classic French dish. The steak au poivre was an absolute highlight—juicy, with a beautifully seared crust, and coated in a rich, peppercorn sauce that added just the right amount of heat. The portion sizes were more than generous, which was a pleasant surprise compared to the typical small portions some associate with French cuisine.

To finish off the meal, we indulged in a Pavlova for dessert. The crisp meringue exterior, combined with its marshmallow-soft inside and topped with fresh fruit and cream, was the perfect light yet satisfying end to the meal. Every dish transported us straight to France, and you could tell that a lot of care was put into both the seasoning and authenticity of each plate.

Overall, if you’re looking for a French dining experience that doesn’t compromise on flavor or portion size, this is the place. Generous servings, rich and authentic flavors, and a menu that truly showcases the best of French cuisine—I highly recommend it!

Great spot here in the Grove. It can definitely get very busy and the space is small, but it is delicious food!

I recommend calling to make a reservation if you can, as sometimes they cannot take walk-ins.

Food is very, very good and great quality. Pricing is not too bad either! I will say that it did take a bit for the food to come out, but it is very busy.

We had a lot of fun here and it’s definitely a new go-to spot for me!

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Le Bouchon in Coconut Grove last night, celebrating Bastille Day in one of the our favorite French restaurant. As long-time patrons, visiting at least every two months for the past four years, we have always found ourselves enamored with the consistently delightful experience.

The evening was very special with the addition of live music in honor of Bastille Day. The atmosphere was lively and the music was a charming touch that enhanced the ambiance, making the night feel celebratory and full of joy.

When it comes to the food, Le Bouchon has always met our expectations, delivering authentic French flavors with each visit. However, this time there was a slight hiccup. I ordered the Chicken Fricasée, which, unfortunately, was overcooked and a bit burned at the bottom. It was an unusual miss for a place that typically nails every dish.

Despite this minor setback, the rest of our meal was excellent, and the overall experience was still very enjoyable. And, I must highlight our waitress, who was incredibly attentive and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the evening.

In conclusion, even with the overcooked Chicken Fricasée, our night at Le Bouchon was pleasant, filled with good music, delightful company, and attentive service. We continue to love this gem in Coconut Grove and look forward to many more evenings here.
