As both a parent and a teacher at Le Soleil French School for Children, my experience has been incredibly fulfilling and enriching for my family and me. It is one of the rare places where, as an immigrant, you feel embraced with genuine love and support. The parents of the children create a close-knit community, helping new families feel welcomed and included. They extended this kindness to my daughter, making her feel like part of the family, surrounded by love and friendship.

Le Soleil is not only a nurturing environment for children, but also a place that fosters professional growth. The staff support one another in pushing their boundaries and striving for excellence. A special thank you to Jessica, Lorenzo, and Zaza for always encouraging your colleagues to reach new heights. I also want to acknowledge Cecile and Immaculee, two hardworking women who prove that age is just a number. Your dedication and the love you have for the children inspire everyone around you.

The respect and value parents place on the teachers and their children is one of the key motivators that make teaching at Le Soleil so rewarding. It’s a place where every morning, I wake up excited to go to work, knowing the joy that awaits me.

I can’t speak highly enough of our Director, Justin. His unwavering support for immigrants and his belief in our abilities is inspiring. He fosters an inclusive and welcoming environment that makes working here a true privilege. Le Soleil truly feels like home for both the children, staff and the families. Long live to Le Soleil French School for Children!

Our son has been in the toddler program at Le Soleil for about a month and we could not be more pleased with our decision to enroll him. Thanks to the dedication and care of the school director and fabulous teachers, our son immediately felt safe, loved and welcome there. He's happy to go to "school" each day and always all smiles at pick-up. We especially love their daily adventures around the neighborhood and the thoughtful and engaging play-based learning activities. Add on the French immersion model, which is so impressive, and this school is truly tops! We love the daily pictures, updates and communication, knowing that our son is having a blast while learning. A special shout-out to teachers Cecile, Ibrahim, Linda and Immaculee who our son just loves and always wants to hug and blow kisses to before leaving each day.

Le Soleil is an amazing place, we feel so fortunate to have had our daughter in the program. She started at 7mo and the teachers are incredible. My daughter took a bit to get used to the environment and the staff met her every need and helped her grow the confidence to play independently at her rate. It's a big transition for the little ones and the onboarding plan, the updates and pictures through the Brightwheel app as well as the adaptability from the staff to meet every child's needs really made it a positive experience for everyone. Pascaline is the lead teacher for the infant room and she really cares and loves for the children as if they are her own. I can speak highly of all the teachers at the school, they are awesome and care greatly and deeply for all the children.

We love the teachers, environment, and community engagement that Le Soleil provides. Our daughter is so well cared for, and the attention to detail in terms of her eating, playing, and sleeping are so comforting when we drop her off every day!

The infant room has so many world class care givers — Pascaline, Bolinda, D’Rachet, Géraldine, and Maladho are warm, comforting, and so helpful. As a working mom, these women have made this transition so easy.

Le Soleil has been such a wonderful and unique experience for our children, something we are so lucky to have here in the Treasure Valley. We have twin 2 year olds that have gone to Le Soleil since they were about 4 months old. The time the teachers take to think about the daily activities, toys, and learning opportunities cannot be more greatly appreciated. They take the time to teach our children, even at such a young age. You can tell that each and every one of them actually cares about your child. Shout out to Immaculee for our son in particular. They have such a special bond that I know is sculpting him into the person he is becoming. Even on his pretend 'phones' at home he only wants to talk to her, that's how you know they are making true connections with your children.

Le Soleil continues to exceed our expectations! All of the teachers are welcoming while providing love and security for our little one. They allow for free play and encourage creativity while supporting the arts and academics. Everything is done with structure and guidance. In addition, the Executive Director invests in thoughtful toys and nutritious snacks while implementing engaging activities. To top it off, our toddler is learning a second language! We are proud to be a part of this French community.

I have children in both the preschool and the infant daycare at Le Soleil. For me, it was important to find a program that was a safe and nurturing place for my children to develop academically and socially while also being allowed to explore their individuality. This program is just that. The teachers are wonderful, and the kids love them! The school administrator is highly experienced in early education and language immersion. He has been professional and responsive to questions and concerns I’ve had, and he has never made me feel like a bother. He really has his stuff together and is very intentional with the way he is running the program.
The speed at which the children develop their French language skills is astounding! They experiment with physical science, art, music, math, reading and writing. It is play based and self-directed learning which keeps them highly engaged. They also learn about everyday life skills like household maintenance, self-help, plant care and pet care (there is a classroom saltwater fish tank!).
I feel very comforted knowing that my children are well cared for and happy while I am away.

I'm a very picky, hard-to-please parent and I have only wonderful things to day about Le Soleil. I am 100% confident that my child is well-looked after and I never worry about her. The staff are genuinely interested in the well-being and safety of the children. Activities are centered around my child's physical, social, emotional and mental well being. The activities are varied, age-appropriate and engaging. My child loves coming here and we will be so sad when she ages out of the program and starts Kindergarten.
